CNN Busted for Wrong Report on Boston Marathon Arrest

Guys I heard CNN is the pinnacle of news reporting.

CNN on Wednesday backtracked after badly botching a report that a "dark-skinned male" had been arrested in connection with the Monday bombings of the Boston Marathon.

At around 1 p.m. ET, CNN's John King came on the air to say that "law enforcement sources" had told him that a suspect had been identified based on surveillance video taken from a Boston Lord & Taylor department store."*

There was no suspect arrest Wednesday in the Boston Marathon bombing, but CNN reported that not only had police captured a suspect, but that he was a "dark skinned" male. Wolf Blitzer even went on to imply that the suspect in the FALSE, baseless report was foreign. Who faces consequences for CNN's huge mistake made in haste to get the "breaking news scoop?" Cenk Uygur breaks it down.

Republican (does it matter?) Calls Women 'Vaginas'

Ugh. Just the oblivious nature of some people. Funny, sad, annoying, dumb. Let's ignore the fact that it's Republican, Democrat, whatever. If a politician is this out of touch, it's not good for the system.

Oops they did it again? It's another day, another GOP gaffe, another condemnation stemming from all sides of the political spectrum, and yet another sexist remark that makes feminists everywhere want to claw eyes out in frustration."*

New Hampshire state Rep. Peter Hansen referred to women as "vaginas" in an email to his colleagues. Did he apologize for referring to women as only their genitals? Not really, but he's sorry if you "feel" that way. Cenk Uygur and Gina Grad (Pretty Good Podcast) discuss.
